Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – June 23, 2025 – The MADANI SEA Leadership Programme (MSEALP) 2025 concluded its inspiring and transformative four-day journey on June 27. The pinnacle of the program was the symposium “Anchoring ASEAN’s Future in Shared Wisdom: Empowering Communities for an Inclusive & Sustainable Civilisation,” held throughout the day on June 26. This symposium featured in-depth discussions and keynote speeches from experts, underscoring the role of ethical and inclusive leadership in shaping a sustainable future for ASEAN.
Throughout the program, participants had the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, including strategic meetings, visits to important institutions like J-KOM and IIUM, and extensive networking sessions that strengthened cross-cultural ties among NGO leaders from diverse faith backgrounds across the region. The Farewell Dinner and Closing Session on the evening of June 26 provided a final opportunity for reflection and collective commitment towards shared goals.
“MSEALP 2025 has exceeded our expectations,” said Dr Ahmad El Muhammady, Director of MSEALP 2025. “The spirit of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among participants was extraordinary. We believe that the seeds of adaptive and compassionate leadership sown here will bear fruit in significant positive changes within their respective communities.”
Wadah Pencerdasan Umat Malaysia (WADAH) extends its heartfelt gratitude to all partners, speakers, volunteers, and especially, all participants who made MSEALP 2025 a resounding success.
